At Touch Stack Technologies, our mission has always extended beyond shipping robust code, building AI solutions, and engineering scalable platforms. We believe that the foundation of a thriving tech sector lies in its people, the developers, designers, product managers, and innovators who turn ideas into reality every day.

That is why, in 2025, Touch Stack Technologies proudly stepped up as the Flagship Sponsor for the maiden edition of Code Cup, organized by the vibrant Code and Cocktails community.

What is Code Cup?

While Code and Cocktails has long been Ghana’s go-to platform for mixing tech, networking, and good vibes, Code Cup introduced a whole new dimension to the ecosystem: sports, teamwork, and healthy competition.

Code Cup is an annual gender-inclusive football tournament created specifically for the Ghana Tech Ecosystem. It brings together software engineers, product designers, QA specialists, startup founders, and tech hubs out of the office and onto the pitch for a day of adrenaline, camaraderie, and fun.

Why We Showed Up as Flagship Sponsors

Building a sustainable tech ecosystem requires more than just venture capital and hackathons; it requires community, mental well-being, and cross-company collaboration.

When the Code and Cocktails team announced the inaugural Code Cup in 2025, Touch Stack Technologies recognized an opportunity to lead from the front. As Flagship Sponsors, our goal was simple:

Fuel Ecosystem Collaboration: Tech professionals often connect over pull requests or Zoom calls. Code Cup offered an organic space to build real, human connections across competing hubs and agencies.

Promote Well-Being: Burning out behind screen monitors is a real challenge in the tech space. Supporting an outdoor, active event aligned with our belief in balanced, healthy work cultures.

Champion Inclusivity: The Code Cup’s emphasis on mixed-gender teams and inclusive participation ensured that everyone in the tech space had a seat—and a spot on the field.

Beyond the Pitch: The Impact

The maiden edition of Code Cup 2025 proved that when the tech community unites, magic happens. The event saw energetic match qualifiers, intense finals, side games, and networking that crossed organizational boundaries.

For Touch Stack Technologies, seeing developers exchange strategies between football halves was a testament to why community investments matter. It reinforced our commitment to being not just an engineering partner, but an active contributor to Ghana’s tech culture.

Looking Ahead

Our partnership with Code and Cocktails for the 2025 Code Cup set a precedent for how tech companies in Ghana can support ecosystem-building initiatives. As Code Cup continues as an annual tradition, Touch Stack Technologies remains dedicated to empowering engineers, fostering grassroots innovation, and supporting spaces where tech professionals can thrive—both on and off the screen.
